
The Mace is a good alternative for fast-swinging primary weapons like the Longsword thanks to its Blunt damage type. However, it makes up for these downsides with an increase in damage per hit. The Mace is a bit different than the Sword because it swings slower at a shorter range, much like its larger Heavy Mace counterpart. In Chivalry 2, this weapon is useful for Knights who want to duke it out against other heavily armored opponents without having to give up their primary weapon slot.
